THE ANTHROPOCENE -

AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER GEOLOGIC UNITS

(Watercolor and ink on board, 7 x 29 inches, 2020)

How long will our civilization last? I just got back from a future where we turned out to be just a blip in our planet's history. What was left of us was merely a thin layer of mangled rust in the deep geologic record of time.

I'll try that other spacetime exit next time.

THE FRONTLINER

A Dreadful Yet Pragmatic Resort

(Oil on board, 7 x 5 inches, April 2020)

SOLD

This painting depicts the gripping image seen in the news of a frontliner at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., moving a COVID-19 victim to a refrigerated truck. It was on April 2, 2020. I painted this scene to honor all those who have died of COVID-19 and to express my gratitude to frontliners everywhere.

This painting was auctioned off and sold on eBay in May 2020. All sales + matching funds from eBay were donated to Direct Relief to help frontliners fight COVID-19 across the US and worldwide.
