Here are some of my paintings of SpaceTime, displayed in reverse spatio-chronological order of creation. Click on any one for a larger view.

ARROW OF TIME - 20210528

(Oil on board, 24 x 12 inches, 2021)

What is Time?
Unlike the three dimensions of space, time is asymmetric, flowing only in one direction, from past to future through the fleeting moment we call present.
This single directionality of time is known in physics as the "arrow of time".
As time plows into the future, it leaves behind an ever expanding and receding wake: the Past.
Can the Arrow of Time be bent and made to fly through its own wake?
Can we revisit, and even alter, the past?
I'm hoping to find out in my spacetime machine.

As I sped through time, space warped around me. I was a grain of sand caught in an hourglass.
